Pilar is from Barcelona and currently lives in London.

Pilar obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration at ESADE Business School, then completed a Master’s Degree in the UK from the Northern Film School specialising in Film Production.

In 2019 she founded production company PILI MILI FILMS, based in Manchester along writer & director Milda Baginskaite. There she produced multiple short films, commercial content and digital shows that have screened in numerous international film festivals, including BAFTA and OSCAR qualifying ones, achieving awards and special mentions along the way, and forging strong ties in the North of England.


Her latest films; "THE LAST COWBOY IN SALFORD", "THE WORLD IS OURS FOR THE TAKING" and “TEDDY” were awarded funding after winning respectively the BFI Fund, New Creatives North fund (BBC Arts) and the Girls In Film fund sponsored by Dr Martens; “LAYLA, AT LAST” awarded the Sharjah Art Foundation fund and shot in Spain and Morocco. Other success stories include: Swinton’s “UNEARTHED” awarded funding after winning the Challenge Alexa Competition with ARRI and DIRECTORS UK; Alexander’s “LÉO” receiving a nomination at the Student Royal Television Society Awards and screening in renowned festivals such as Camerimage in Poland; and Baginskaite’s “PINK POOL” starring Mireia Oriol ("SOY NEVENKA” and Netflix's "THE GIRL IN THE MIRROR”), selected into four BAFTA qualifying festivals among others..


Interested in discovering more culture-shaping up-and-coming influential voices, Pilar then moved to London, where she currently works in the Production Office for PARADISE CITY PRODUCTIONS under the wing of producers Naima Abed and Emilie Georges ("CALL ME BY YOUR NAME", "STILL ALICE", "TRUE HISTORY OF THE KELLY GANG"). At Paradise City, she oversees all projects from inception to completion, coordinating and shaping Paradise City's production processes, contributing to the team's success through meticulous planning and a genuine passion for storytelling. She’s worked on co-production “DRIFT” - Anthony Chen’s English debut which premiered at Sundance 2023, co-produced “DREAMS IN NIGHTMARES” - Shatara Michelle Ford’s sophomore’s feature that premiered at Berlinale 2025, and “ATROPIA” by Hailey Gates which won the Jury Prize at Sundance 2025, among others.

Pilar’s a BAFTA Connect member since 2022 and a registered active BIFA voter.
